MUBI has officially announced that Harvest, the latest feature film by acclaimed director Athina Rachel Tsangari, will arrive in UK and Irish cinemas on April 18, 2025. Based on Jim Crace’s Booker Prize-shortlisted novel, the film promises a visually stunning and immersive period drama about transformation, power, and survival.

A Haunting Tale of Change and Displacement

Set over seven hallucinatory days, Harvest follows an unnamed village in an undefined time and place as it faces an unexpected invasion from the outside world. Townsman-turned-farmer Walter Thirsk (Caleb Landry-Jones) and childhood friend Charles Kent (Harry Melling) find their rural community disrupted by outsiders, including a mapmaker, a company man, and a group of migrants.
