Meet the Parents 4: Stiller & De Niro Say It’s ‘A Mirror to the First Film’

Ben Stiller and Robert De Niro confirmed at the Tribeca Film Festival that Meet the Parents 4 is officially in the works, and described it as “a mirror to the first film.” Stiller shared that he is now the same age De Niro was during the original 2000 shoot, with this new chapter focusing on the next generation of their characters. De Niro added that the script is “very good” and that he’s excited to begin filming.

Ariana Grande will also join the cast in an undisclosed role. Director John Hamburg, a longtime collaborator on the franchise, is returning to helm the project. The Meet the Parents series has earned over $880 million worldwide to date. The fourth installment is currently slated for release in November 2026.
