Kate Beckinsale is officially heading back into high-octane action territory. Her upcoming thriller, originally titled Lioness, has now been renamed Wildcat, signaling a sharper, more aggressive tone for the project.
Directed by James Nunn, the film follows a former black-ops unit that reunites for a dangerous last-job mission: rescuing an abducted 8-year-old girl before it’s too late. Beckinsale leads the cast, joined by Lewis Tan (Mortal Kombat, Wu Assassins), who is expected to bring serious fight energy to the screen.

Release Date: Wildcat claws into U.S. theaters on November 25, 2025, strategically entering the late-year action window where genre thrillers often build cult momentum.
With its new title and darker edge, many fans are already speculating whether this could mark Beckinsale’s biggest return to the action spotlight since her Underworld days.
